Scientists Discover New Super Strain Of Salmonella

Reuters | Scientists have identified an emerging "superbug" strain of salmonella that is highly resistant to the antibiotic ciprofloxacin, or Cipro, often used for severe salmonella infections, and say they fear it may spread around the world.

The strain, known as S. Kentucky, has spread internationally with almost 500 cases found in France, Denmark, England and Wales in the period between 2002 and 2008, according a study in the Journal of Infectious Diseases.

French researchers who led the study also looked at data from North America and said reports of infection in Canada and contamination of imported foods in the United States suggest the strain has also reached there.

FDA Declares Walnuts Drugs

Lef.org | Life Extension® has published 57 articles that describe the health benefits of walnuts.

Some of this same scientific data was featured on the website of Diamond Foods, Inc., a distributor of packaged walnuts.

Last year the FDA determined that walnuts sold by Diamond Foods cannot be legally marketed because the walnuts “are not generally recognized as safe and effective” for the medical conditions referenced on Diamond Foods’s website.

According to the FDA, these walnuts were classified as “drugs” and the “unauthorized health claims” cause them to become “misbranded,” thus subjecting them to government “seizure or injunction.”

Diamond Foods capitulated and removed statements about the health benefits of walnuts from its website.

Let’s take a look at the science supporting the consumption of walnuts to see what the FDA censored…and what you can do to stop it in the future!

Raw Milk Survey Reveals State & Federal Regulations

Infowars.com | On the raw milk front, Dairyherd.com has some interesting survey results on comparative raw milk regulations on a state-by-state basis. To summarize, thirty states allow consumers to transact with raw milk producers while twenty states prohibit that act of freedom. And don’t forget that federal laws prevent the sale of any raw milk, from anywhere, over state lines. The fed’s response to the good white stuff moving over state lines is sending in armed soldiers in full battle gear to destroy the enemy.

Thirteen mini-regimes in the US of A allow the sale of raw milk on the farm where where it was produced, while four of those thirteen only allow “incidental occurrences,” which, of course, cannot be defined. But arbitrary laws with a host of potential interpretations is how the feds are able to use arbitrary rule interpretations to seize product and regulate small producers out of business. The article defines incidental occurrences as “occasional sales, not as a regular course of business; no advertising.” Surely, the feds can interpret “occasional” and “regular” and “advertising” in a whole host of capricious ways.

Korean Scientists Create Glowing Dog

Reuters | South Korean scientists said on Wednesday they have created a glowing dog using a cloning technique that could help find cures for human diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, Yonhap news agency reported.

A research team from Seoul National University (SNU) said the genetically modified female beagle, named Tegon and born in 2009, has been found to glow fluorescent green under ultraviolet light if given a doxycycline antibiotic, the report said.

The researchers, who completed a two-year test, said the ability to glow can be turned on or off by adding a drug to the dog's food.

"The creation of Tegon opens new horizons since the gene injected to make the dog glow can be substituted with genes that trigger fatal human diseases," the news agency quoted lead researcher Lee Byeong-chun as saying.

Genetic Genocide: Human/Animal Hybrids

Infowars.com | Pandora’s Box has surely been opened. A dangerous genetic experiment has come out of the shadows, and the human-animal hybrids, chimeras and other transgenic clones it has yielded now threaten to endanger and irrevocably alter life as we know it.

The controllers of elite-funded science and R&D have wantonly tampered with the genetic code of the planet, ignoring the rather obvious dangers posed by cross-species experimentation and flagrantly jeopardizing the earth’s delicately-balanced biodiversity.

In a special video, Alex Jones addresses the profound risks posed by genetically-modified hybrids now featuring prominently in the field of biotechnology.

RIP Amy Winehouse

{jcomments off}Amy WinehouseIn a world of clones, copycats, and rip-offs British singer Amy Winehouse stood out as a truly original artist. Amy marched to the beat of her own drummer challenging the music industry and changing pop music in the process . I am so sad that she is gone but I know she will find peace now that she never found in her time here with us. I also believe Amys’ music will stand the test of time with new poeple discovering and enjoying her unique talents in the years to come.
