Grand Jury Investigating Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe

WashingtonPost.com | Federal Prosecutors have convened a grand jury to investigate the activities of former FBI deputy directory Andrew McCabe including his role in leaks to the media. The use of a grand juty is indicative of an intensified effort and reportedly the grand jury has summoned more than one witness.  Washington Post sources declined to identify the people who have been asked to testify.

Sessions Fires McCabe Before He Can Retire

nbcnews.com | Pete Williams | Attorney General Jeff Sessions late Friday night accepted the recommendation that former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who took the reins of the agency during the turbulent days after the abrupt firing of James Comey, be terminated — two days before he was to retire and become eligible for full pension benefits.

Though McCabe — who has been attacked by President Donald Trump — stepped down as deputy director in late January, he remained on the federal payroll, planning to retire on Sunday. The firing places his federal pension in jeopardy.

CIA Whistleblower Case Casts Cloud Over Promised Protections

McClatchydc.com | Tim Johnson | A federal judge recently dismissed a lawsuit by a Cuban-American CIA employee, James S. Pars (a CIA provided pseudonym).  Mr. Pars attorney says this may put a further chill on other whistleblowers in the intelligence community.  Mr. Pars, states that his career at the CIA has been upended after complaining about conditions at an unnamed foreign post that put himself and others at risk and which he described as like a "college dorm".

CIA's Use Of Journalists & Media

8ch.net | A recent #QAnon post referenced 2 documents discussing the CIA's use of journalists & media (see attachments below).  These documents help to explain what/who may be behind some of the Main Stream Media (MSM) news stories and narratives.  According to the documents, the CIA no longer keeps journalists on the payroll, however there doesn't appear to be any restrictions on former CIA employees from working as journalists or on journalists who voluntarilly cooperate with the CIA.
