The Truth Behind The Surge In "Extremism"

alt-market.com | The definition of “extremist” is a rather ambiguous issue primarily dependent on opinion rather than fact. That is to say, it is generally the people in power and their propaganda mouthpieces that determine who is an extremist and who is not. There is no set or fair standard.

If you are a quiet and passive sort of citizen with no political deviations and no thoughts outside of what is considered “mainstream,” then you are probably considered a non-threat to the establishment. If, however, you promote an ideal that is opposed to the establishment agenda and display a potential to actually ACT to fight for that ideal, then you will eventually be labeled an extremist.

So who sets the standard for extremism in America today? The responsibility of enforcement has been undertaken by the Department of Homeland Security. But, the initial profiling of extremism and the engineering behind the farcical talking points that the DHS often uses and spreads to local law enforcement agencies is the work of the Southern Poverty Law Center.

America’s Gestapo: The FBI’s Reign of Terror

This article appeared at www.rutherford.org:

We want no Gestapo or secret police. The FBI is tending in that direction. They are dabbling in sex-life scandals and plain blackmail. J. Edgar Hoover would give his right eye to take over, and all congressmen and senators are afraid of him.”—President Harry S. Truman

Don’t Be a Puppet” is the message the FBI is sending young Americans.

As part of the government’s so-called ongoing war on terror, the nation’s de facto secret police force is now recruiting students and teachers to spy on each other and report anyone who appears to have the potential to be “anti-government” or “extremist.”

Using the terms “anti-government,” “extremist” and “terrorist” interchangeably, the government continues to add to its growing list of characteristics that could distinguish an individual as a potential domestic terrorist.

For instance, you might be a domestic terrorist in the eyes of the FBI (and its network of snitches) if you:

  1. express libertarian philosophies (statements, bumper stickers)
  2. exhibit Second Amendment-oriented views (NRA or gun club membership)
  3. read survivalist literature, including apocalyptic fictional books
  4. show signs of self-sufficiency (stockpiling food, ammo, hand tools, medical supplies)
  5. fear an economic collapse
  6. buy gold and barter items
  7. subscribe to religious views concerning the book of Revelation
  8. voice fears about Big Brother or big government
  9. expound about constitutional rights and civil liberties
  10. believe in a New World Order conspiracy

Oathkeeper Sheriff Blocks Feds from Raiding Local Farmer

www.dontcomply.com | Indiana – Elkhart County Sheriff Brad Rogers, successfully stood up for his constituents in a showdown, when the Food and Drug Administration sent in some federal officials to pester a raw milk and organic food farmer.

Sheriff Rogers followed up on a complaint from a local farmer, David Hochstetler and discovered that he would use his position to side with them because he saw that there was no justified cause for the obtrusive inspections that have going on since 2011 around twice a month.

They were searching for a reason to shut down Forest Grove Dairy Farm, so Rogers stepped in and blocked it. Then he started speaking out about it.

Oathkeeper's At Burns Oregon

The following artcle by  appeared at oathkeepers.org:

www.oathkeepers.org | A few weeks ago, I was asked by the Oath Keepers to go to Burns, Oregon. They needed another media crew there to help determine the feel of local residents concerning the occupation of the Malheur Wildlife Refuge.

I am an Oath Keeper and a journalist. I know there had been wildly alternating reports coming out of Burns, and I, like everyone else, wanted the true story. I was happy to go.

One of the first things I learned upon my arrival in Burns was that the Oath Keepers had had a presence there since before January 2016. Not attempting to make headlines, the Oath Keepers provided security when needed and contributed to mediation between varying groups.

Documenting events and advising when asked, the Oath Keepers made a difference in Burns. Hearing these stories made me prouder still to be a part of the organization.
