Investigation Concludes Awans Had Unauthorized Access To Congressional Servers

DailyCaller.com | Luke Rosiak | According to a summary presentation of their findings, Investigators for the House of Representatives have concluded that the now fired Awan brothers/family, had unauthorized access to congressional servers, accessed data for members that they didn't work for, logged in as the members themselves and covered up their activities.  In addition, their activities "mirrored a classic method for insiders to exfilttrate data from an organization," and they brazingly continued after being ordered to stop, the presentaton alleges.  There are also indications that members data may have been aggregated onto one server which was then physically stolen.

Awans Finalizing Immunity Deals with DOJ in Exchange For Testimony on Members of Congress

FBI Investigation of Espionage, Blackmail in Awan Case Blocked By Obama DOJ Appointee

TruePundit.com | According to TruePundit.com, Federal agents believe the DOJ may be interferring in the FBI’s attempts to expand the case against Imran Awan and Hina Alvi in what appears to be an attempt to protect Democratic members of Congress in the ever-expanding criminal case against the Awans.  The U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Channing Pillips, who is leading the case, is a Democrat appointed by former President Barack Obama.  Phillips was appointed shortly before the grand jury that was convened to hear the evidence in the case.

FBI Suspects Congress/DOJ Leaked Grand Jury Indictment to the Awans

TruePundit.com | According to TruePundit.com, FBI sources suspect members of congress may have tipped off the Awans to the Grand Jury Indictment.  Further, some Federal Law Enforcement sources believe that members of congress may have been tipped-off by a leak in the DOJ or the FBI itself.  Prior to his arrest, Imran Awan behaved like someone who was tipped off.  Citing another example of potential inteference in the investigation, TruePundit.com sources believe that none other than former FBI Director James Comey and Deputy Directory Andrew McCabe made the call to let Imran's wife, Alvi, escape back to Pakistan in March of 2016.
